Aurélien Gay (SUI) in the men’s U23 category; Lisa Moreschini (ITA) in U23 Women; Caroline Ulrich (SUI) in the U20 Women’s; Thomas Bussard (SUI) in men’s U20; Ida Waldal (NOR) in the U18 women’s category and Jules Raybaud (FRA) in the men’s U18 are proclaimed European champions in their respective categories.
The Spanish team has won a bronze medal, in the U18 women’s category, from the Andalusian Maria Ángeles Rodríguez.
Today, Thursday 10th, second day of the ISMF Skimo European Championships Boí Taüll 2022 was runned, with the Vertical test.
This test is a demanding course where technique and above all endurance are needed. Ida Waldal (NOR) in the U18 women’s category, Jules Raybaud (FRA) in the men’s U18, Caroline Ulrich (SUI) in the women’s U20, Thomas Bussard (SUI) in the men’s U20; Lisa Moreschini (ITA) in U23 Women; Aurélien Gay (SUI) in U23 men; Axelle Gachet-Mollaret (FRA), all-female, and Werner Marti (SUI), all-male, climbed to the top of the podium.
The distribution of podiums in today’s event, by national teams is: Italy (5), France (5), Switzerland (5), Norway (1), Austria (1), Germany (1), Sweden (1) , Belgium (1) and Spain (1).
Tomorrow, Friday 11 February, will be the resting day. However, the teams will take this opportunity to recognize the route of the main event of these Boí Taüll 2022 Mountain Ski Championships, which is the individual race that will take place on Saturday.
